Accurate color reproduction across the web requires conditions to also be met other than tracking ink density and dot size, notably accurate dot alignment or color register on every plate is a prerequisite for any closed loop color control system.
True Register technology gives accurate register on every plate across and around the press avoiding the need for manual plate middling.
Precision cut-off control right from start-up, throughout makeready, acceleration, splices and press deceleration at the end of the run is now possible with 3TControl.
Accurate Fan-Out measurement at every section allows real-time fan-out evolution to be monitored and corrected under different production conditions.
Dot gain monitoring and calibration are an important part of printing process control.

The project includes Wifag's in-house state-of-the “Platform Plus” controls with 3TControl implementing their full IPA automation platform that will provide new closed loop systems for density control, colour register, cut-off, side-lay register as well as fan-out management.

One of the world's most modern print facilities, Eco Print Centre (EPC), located in Lokeren (Belgium) has placed an order for 3TControl's IPA print automation system.
JANUARY 2011
Grupo EPASA (Panama City), publisher of leading newspapers Panama America, Critica and Dia a Dia has placed an order with Spain’s 3TControl to further automate their Goss Urbanite press.
Indugraf Offset, based in Tarragona, Spain, has placed an order with 3TControl for IPA Print Automation.
Spanish printer Lerigraf located in Lerida, north-east Spain, reached the waste saving milestone three months before expected after installing 3TControl IPA for register control on their MAN Uniset press.
3TControl has signed a partnership agreement with SERGUSA SOLUTIONS, with offices in Mumbai, New Delhi and Chennai.
